I am writing to you today from Oklahoma City where I did a program yesterday to a group of law firm clients. They were a wonderful group and I talked about the “9 Secrets of Living a Regret Free Life.” The most important thing to me was that most of them were even bigger animals lovers than I was. We had “Troubles” their Maltese mascot dog there, another person had a farm with horses ,miniature horses, cats, dogs, a rabbit etc. And many felt like I do, if you don’t like pets, we probably won’t like you. Anyway, I head home today, ready to go on another trip on Thursday.

We had a local S.O.B. meeting on Friday, and I also did another radio show on Thursday. So life continues to be busy and interesting and I sure hope yours is also. One of my friends is starting a new breast cancer site and I’ll tell you more about it as it develops.

I want to take this time to also remind all of you to continue to do whatever you need to in order to make sure you are doing your prevention screenings. Mammograms, colonoscopies, general checkups are important. An ounce of prevention as they say is worth everything.

Question and Answer:

Q: You seem to be so diversified. What do you like to read?

A: Interesting question. For so many years the only thing I ever read were business books and some marketing. Now I read more marketing and am starting into spirituality. I am trying to lighten up a little bit, but still haven’t gotten into novels, mysteries, romance or that kind of thing. With everything that is coming at me from the internet, I find my time more limited and depend on my travels to allow me reading time. However, I do seem to get a little bit from a lot of areas through magazines. I subscribe to a lot of health and fitness mags and do get Fortune, Forbes, Fast Company etc.

Tips:

1. 30 minutes a day saved will gain you 22 8 hour days at the end of the year.

2. Group like tasks and it will make them easier and quicker to accomplish.

3. Check who and what interrupts you. You will find they are the same things and people all the time.
