It’s been a fantastic week in San Diego. Although it starts off grey in the morning, by noon the sun is shining brightly and there’s no humidity! I also got together with several friends. Had a lovely dinner party done for me and some other friends, lunched at a variety of restaurants, worked out every single day and even snuck in a personal training session working on my core, which I need desperately. And Abby has been with me every inch of the way enjoying herself wherever we go and then collapsing into a deep sleep once we get home.
Went to a terrific women’s networking group and meant some fantastic women. Some of them are even Spunky Old Broads! I hope all of you are taking some of the things that are happening in the world and adding your positive contributions to them. I truly believe that if women led the world, we’d have less strife, and if we were in the drivers seat where companies are concerned, we wouldn’t have the economic turmoil as well. We make decisions with our head and our heart and use that little thing called “common sense.”
My kids had a pool party at my house while I was gone, and I understand my great-grandson is a fabulous dancer too–at 19 months! Maybe he’ll take after his great grandma. I still love to dance, just not all the music with words that I can’t understand or remember. I’ve gotten hooked on Turner Classic Movies and some of those old musicals have me swirling and twirling around the room and singing at the top of my lungs. And to think, so many people don’t even know who these people are anymore. Makes you think about the legacy you want to leave doesn’t it?

Question and Answer:
Q: I have a great family and life, but it feels like something is missing. Any suggestions?
A: There’s a lot of unknown information you’ve left out, but if everything is o,.k. then maybe you are just looking for a new incentive or idea. Why don’t you ask yourself this magic question that I ask all of my coaching mentees, “If I could grant you one wish (providing every thing else is good in your life which it seems to be), what would it be?” You’d be surprised how many people just stare at me because they’ve never thought about it, or you will discover the wildest thing you can imagine. Then work backwards from there and you’ll have a start. There are so many places who need volunteers, wonderful trips you can experience, classes to take, people to meet, I know you will find something. Let me know when you do.
P.S. S.O.B.’s why don’t you ask yourself the same question. What wish would you want and wow! You’ll discover some amazing things.
