I’m here in San Diego where the weather is beautiful and just the right temperature. I love coming here every month and it serves as a respite for me even though I do a lot of work here and meet with a lot of friends and peers. Abby enjoys it as well as she barks at people from the balcony, goes out in the courtryard for her sunning, and generally has a grand old time.
I mentioned I was at the NSA convention last week, and I really enjoyed myself even though it was my 30th! They keep re-inventing themselves for the better and it’s so inspiring to see what other people are doing. You can keep to yourself and not learn anything new, or you can be amongst brilliant peers and gain a whole new perspective. Regardless, I thought it was fantastic and wrote several new action steps to take.
Took a mini Avatar course which is all about understanding your basic belief system. Mot sure I got it all yet, but bought the books and will read them and try to digest all these new thoughts. Isn’t it amazing that you can reach the ripe age of 72 and still find new and different ways of doing something? That’s what keeps us fresh and young so I hope all of you are taking up new interests as well.
Booked a trip for myself to New York to see some shows and I have a trip to Michigan coming up to see my husband’s side of the family. There are a few more trips in August and then my summer is gone. I can’t believe everything has gone so quickly. Anyway, if there are some deep issues you need help with, just email me at
[email protected] and let me know how I can be of service to you.

Question and Answer:
Q: I need to make some decisions and I am at my wits end to know what to do. My son has just moved back in and doesn’t have a job. My husband has been laid off, and it is up to me to keep everything together. What do I do?
A: I’m not sure if you mean keeping things together financially, emotionally or just on an even scale. If it has to do with money, then you need to sit down, make a budget and see what can and cannot be paid. If there are things you must take care of on a monthly basis, call these providers and see if you can negotiate some kind of payment plan. If it’s emotional, then sit down with your husband and son and lay out some parameters as to who does what and the responsibilities they have. If you are working and your son and husband aren’t, then they should keep the home fires going. I am sure they are looking for work, but it isn’t easy in certain work areas and locations. The most important thing is to keep the communication going and open. Only when people won’t honestly discuss the real issues, do things get screwed up, so talk!

Tips:
1. Pick an exercise program that works for you so you’ll stick with it.
2..Be excited about who you are and what you’re doing. And laugh out loud every day.
3. Look at people directly to establish rapport and credibility.

Personally I’m impressed by the quality of this. Sometimes I fav stuff like this on Redit. This article probably won’t do well with that crowd. I’ll look around and find another article that may work.

Good afternoon. I wanted to write you a quick comment to express my thanks. I’ve been reading your blog for a month or so and have picked up a great deal of good information as well as enjoyed the way you’ve setup your blog. I am attempting to run my own blog but I think it’s far too general. I would like to focus more on narrower topics. Being all things to all people is not all that its cracked up to be. Many thanks.
